That's pretty much it to be honest and it doesn't do anything that you haven't seen before in the genre. You've got the usual array of characters to choose from, each with their own special moves, including physical and magical attacks, and the goal is simply to smack the living daylights out of your opponent in the time frame. There are a few modes to play through here, including story, tournament and two-up, but the essential gameplay remains the same, and this is basically a very traditional one-on-one fighter. The story revolves around the typically bonkers Japanese concept of a bunch of teenage girls who fight the forces of darkness, while the usual talking cat also pops up for good measure. Based on the famous Japanese manga and anime, it's far from being as complex or rewarding as the aforementioned classic, but it remains a simple and mildly entertaining beat 'em up. If Street Fighter 2 is a bit too macho for you and you fancy a bit more in the way of girl on girl fighting action, then Sailor Moon might be just what you're looking for.
